Conversations you have with your kids

So here's one I have with my kids at least once a month:

"Mom, can we get a dog!"

"NO!"

"Why, we promise we'll take care of it!"

"NO!"

" We'll walk it and feed it and it can sleep in our beds. We Promise!"

"NO! I take care of kids not animals."

"Awe:("

"Besides, you have Andrew as a dog. Play with him."

Andrew sadly really is our family dog. At the drop of a dime this boy will start to bark, crawl and act like a dog whether we are at home, the grocery store, target, church, you get the picture.

Do any of your kids do this?

This occasion happen when we were having a picnic by the beach in San Diego.
